Miranda and Austin: A Yacht Club Wedding

Almost 10 years after dating in high school and finding each other again at a mutual friend's engagement party, Miranda and Austin made it down the aisle on a beautiful October evening.

The bride brought nothing to the ceremony other than a welcome sign on a mirror, she wanted the backdrop to speak for itself. Miranda's bouquet also stole the show with its non-symmetrical look of Willow eucalyptus, frutillaria perseca, white roses, light garden pink roses, light pink spray roses, white ranunculus, succulents, bells of Ireland, scabiosa balls, seeded eucalyptus.

Cocktail hour moved nearby to the pool deck and lawn. Under the festive festoon lights, guests enjoyed their cocktails with a nice October breeze in their formal black tie best! The cocktail tables were kept in neutrals with simple greenery and whites on each table. The overall theme was “Sexy Tuscan”, which the bride had picked out. It was a fitting tribute to the couple as well as the bride's mom, who had passed away five months prior.

Inside the reception, there were greenery toped tables with olive oil bottles as everyone's favor. The attached tag had “Miriam's Recipe” (Miranda's mom) for a delicious vinaigrette dressing! All linens were in an ivory with a khaki colored napkin. Pops of pale pinks were brought in from the floral within the greenery. The Yacht Club Ballroom, where the reception was help” was also uplit in a warm amber.

Elsewhere in the reception was a mural of Miranda's favorite pictures of her mom along with a fresh lei flown in from Hawaii, since that was her favorite place.

The bride surprised her groom with a specialized cake of his favorite order from his favorite restaurant: A Cabana Box from Taco Cabana! The show stopper of the evening had to be the escort card table. The build of a wooden stand with wire hangers was adorned in more greenery and Disch Events, the florist, also brought some of their lighting to add a spotlight of Miranda's stunning bridal portrait sitting in the middle along with photos of the couple (some dating back almost 10 years to when they dated in high school!)

The couple departed at the end of the night on a Speed Boat provided by the resort, a fitting exit for their Yacht Club wedding!

Gloria Goode provided all the amazing images, everyone danced the night away to The Royal Dukes, Disch put together stunning floral, Marquee provided all the linens and Premiere the chairs, tying in the overall look, Brian Delumpa did the fun wedding video.

One of our favorite touches were the programs, which were a recreated sketch from one Miranda's graphic designer, it was absolutely adorable!
