KRISTI DEPEW, CWEP

OWNER

Kristi was born and raised right here in Austin, Texas, but her panache for planning started while attending Texas Tech University, where she coordinated and planned social, philanthropic and public events for her sorority, and earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Retail. Upon returning to Austin, Kristi began her local event-planning career at Elite Weddings, and then went on to work as an Event Consultant and Marketing Director for Premiere Events before earning her Certified Wedding and Event Planning certification through LWPI’s Wedding Planning Institute.

Her background in rental and design give her a unique perspective in regards to event setup and attention to detail. She attributes her design aesthetic to her merchandising and design background, and prides herself on her photographic memory in regards to projecting wedding trends.

In her free time, Kristi enjoys spending as much time as possible with her son Nathaniel, middle daughter Alexandria, her youngest girl Madeline, and her husband Dan, whom she married at The Driskill Hotel in 2012. She has served as Vice President, President, and Immediate Past-President for the Associated Wedding Planners of Austin (AWPA), and has also served as a past Board Member of the Austin chapter of the National Association for Catering and Events (NACE), where she served as Fundraising Chair and Communications Chair.

Stacy was born in Mt. Laurel, NJ but got to Texas as fast as she could at the young age of 3 and never left. She graduated from Texas A&M University with a Biomedical Science degree. After several years in pharmaceutical sales, Stacy realized her real passion for events and never looked back.

Stacy has over twelve years of experience in the event industry that includes not only wedding coordinating, but also venue management and catering sales. Her experience spans from small and intimate events of fewer than 25 guests, upwards of events with 3,000+ guests. This gives Stacy the extra advantage, insight, and knowledge in planning and executing seamless events, big and small. Stacy's love of weddings shows through with her attention to detail. Her wedding philosophy is that a wedding should not only be a reflection of the couple, but also as individuals. Her favorite part about being a wedding planner is taking clients' visions and executing it beyond their imagination. That moment of wow and joy on her clients’ faces makes it all worth it!

When Stacy is not planning events, she is spending time with her husband; who she married in 2012 at the Texas Federation Women's Club in Austin, and their two daughters, Grace and Madelyn. Her hobbies include baking, refinishing furniture, playing soccer, and traveling. She is an advent skier, hopping on her first set of skis at the age of 5. Her guilty pleasure is just about every Bravo reality TV show. She loves all things holidays and just like any good planner, loves a good theme party! Something  she's not good at is singing; not that it stops her from belting out some Whitney Houston ballads! She doesn't take life too seriously, and is good at finding the humor in just about anything, even if that means laughing at herself because of it.

TESSA JOHNSON

PRINCIPAL EVENT PLANNER

Tessa was born in the San Francisco Bay Area and came to Austin in 2014 to attend St. Edwards University where the beautiful city of Austin stole her heart. Growing up in a household where her parents worked in corporate and social events, Tessa knew that was the field she could see herself.

During college Tessa  interned as an events and social media intern for the nonprofit Kids in a New Groove assisting on live music events with bands such as Shakey Graves and Walker Lukens.  After she finished school she was then hired by Eclipse Event Co. as an intern and afterwards was promoted to one of their wedding coordinators.

Traveling to Asia, Egypt, and Europe were some of the many experiences which contributed to Tessa's distinct eye for style. From these travels she has gained a wide perspective of design and therefore is able to cater to any brides taste. She takes pride in partnering with couples and families to create the most memorable day possible all with a smile and a high level of customer service.

When she is not planning events, she enjoys spending time with her boyfriend, Adam, baking, and enjoying the nature Austin has to offer.  She's scanning the globe to see where her next travel destination will be and looks forward to seeing more of the world.

AMY BAY

SENIOR PLANNER

Amy was born and raised in Harker Heights, Texas, where her love of events and southern hospitality was instilled in her at a young age by her grandmother. This love turned into a passion which motivated her to pursue a degree in Family and Consumer Science from Sam Houston State University. During her time at SHSU, she was a founding officer of the Sam Houston State University Chapter of the Student Event Planners Association.

After graduating, Amy has spent the past five years obtaining invaluable event experience by working with various companies in catering, rentals, and floral. ART FUENTES

SENIOR PLANNER

My name is Art Fuentes and for my bio I’m going to tell all of you reading this why I would make an amazing Event Planner. As the former president of my college water polo team, I am skilled at commanding the attention of a room, and discussing very important issues: “Ladies and gentlemen, may I have your attention please? We need to make our way outside for the sparkler send off”.

I’m able to recall hundreds of important details at the drop of a hat: "Yes, the couple IS keeping the top tier of their cake”.

I feel comfortable using event jargon in everyday life: “We need to run that by the FOTB”.

That’s why you should vote for me, Art Fuentes, Planner for your upcoming event.

Art has been a member of the Austin event industry for the past 10 years. He began his events journey in his final year at Texas State University (Eat ‘Em Up Cats!) Where he interned for a local event planning company, and after graduating at the middle of his class he was brought on as an Assistant Event Planner. After making the treacherous 30-mile trek on IH35 from San Marcos, TX to Austin, TX, he continued his work in the event industry by taking up the position of Office Manager for Simon Lee Bakery (a bakery known for their amazing and delicious wedding cakes). After a few years (and a fluctuating waistline), he moved on over to Westbank Flower Market where he eventually became the Events Lead, preparing and executing a wide variety of events. During all this time he has served as Eclipse Event Co.’s go-to Assistant for all types of events, and has been awarded the titles "Employee of the Month", "Quarter", and "Year" (titles awarded to himself, by himself). Art offers an extensive events background and can easily steer you in the right direction in creating an unforgettable event experience for you and your guests.

Fun facts:

- Has never received a top 30 under 30 award but at 33 is still holding out hope.

- Has a degree in improv comedy from fallout theater, so can easily get on the mic and keep a crowd entertained.

- Believes you can never order too much wedding cake!

HALEY RICHTER

EVENT PLANNER

Haley was raised in League City, TX, where she was a dancer and a huge choir nerd. She then moved up to College Station to attend Texas A&M University, where she received both her Bachelor and Master degrees in History and Education Curriculum & Development. WHOOP!!!!

After being an Eclipse Bride herself and loving the process of planning, she assisted at Eclipse for a year. Haley then made the full jump into the wedding world, and has never looked back!

When Haley is not planning weddings, she is usually curled up with a book, spending time with her husband Aaron at Slapbox Pizzacheria (iykyk), or spending way too much money on travelling and/or her perfume collection.

One of Haley's favorite things about the wedding process is seeing the couple’s personality come through in small details, such as song choices or unique food choices!! She loves getting to know the couple, as well as their closest friends and family, throughout the planning process. There's no feeling quite like seeing a full dance floor of loved ones busting a move and celebrating a new beginning together!

Born and raised in the vibrant city of Pflugerville, Texas, I've always been deeply rooted in its warm community atmosphere. From an early age, I found myself drawn to the realms of fashion and furniture design, where creativity knows no bounds. The interplay of colors, textures, and forms has always fascinated me, igniting a passion that continues to drive my artistic pursuits.

As a devout Christian, my faith serves as the cornerstone of my life, guiding my actions and shaping my worldview. I strive to embody the values of love, compassion, and understanding in all my interactions, finding fulfillment in fostering meaningful connections with people from all walks of life.

In essence, I am someone who finds beauty in both the aesthetic and the human experience. Through my love for design, my devotion to family and friends, and my unwavering faith, I seek to leave a positive impact on the world around me, one moment of genuine connection at a time.

KELSEY UHL

EVENT PLANNER

Kelsey was born and raised in the small town of Crandall, Texas, just outside of Dallas. She pursued her passion for design at Stephen F. Austin State University, graduating with a degree in Interior Merchandising. After meeting her husband during college, the two took a leap of faith and moved to Austin three years ago.

Kelsey's love for event planning started at an early age, where she remembers helping her mom with organizing her own birthday parties and the excitement of choosing decorations and activities for the celebrations. Her passion for events grew after planning her own wedding and her sister's wedding just 9 months apart (her poor dad's checkbook!). It was during this time that she decided to pursue event planning as a career.

Some of Kelsey’s best qualities are her attention to detail, and unique creative perspectives thanks to her design background. She loves bringing her passion for creating unforgettable, picturesque moments to life.

When Kelsey is not planning weddings, you can probably find her hanging out with her husband, Garrett, and their Great Pyrenees, Palmer. Or spending way too much money at Target, Marshalls and HomeGoods. She loves watching true crime shows, enjoying time in the sun whether it's poolside or on the beach. Kelsey is Tex-Mex obsessed and enjoys finding new restaurants around ATX (give her all the suggestions!).

She can’t wait to help turn your wedding dreams into reality!

KRISTIN YOUNGBLOOD

EVENT PLANNER

Originally from Virginia Beach, Virginia, Kristin has been in the Austin area since 2010. She received her Bachelor degree in International Business with a minor in Marketing, later receiving her Meeting and Event Planning certificate after she discovered her love for planning events.

Kristin got her start in the event industry back in 2012 when she worked at Austin Community College as the assistant to the special events coordinator to execute events hosted by the ACC Hospitality Department. From there, she interned as an event planner at companies in the Austin community where she learned that planning an event is so much more than beautiful flowers and linen choices. Kristin’s background in event coordination services was further developed when she worked for Austin restaurants and catering companies as an Event Coordinator. As much as Kristin loved working in the world of great food, her heart was still deeply rooted in the event planning side. She then furthered her experience by working with The Simplifiers as an Apprentice Coordinator and then Disch Events as a Lead Planner, planning events such as weddings, corporate and social events.

In her free time, Kristin loves being with her daughter Josie and having dance parties together. She loves anything outdoors – hiking, live music and a nice pool or lake, traveling whenever she can and any excuse to make a spreadsheet!
