LAUREN CHUMBLEY, CMEP

PRINCIPAL PLANNER

Lauren was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. The day after her high school graduation, she moved to Austin to attend The University of Texas. Upon graduating with her degree in Public Relations, she then went on to earn her Certification in Meeting and Event Planning, studying everything from Weddings to Trade Shows and Conferences.

 

Over the years Lauren interned at Elite Weddings and worked at In Style Weddings and Destinations before starting Eclipse Event Co. with Kristi DePew in 2015.

 

In her spare time, Lauren enjoys spending time with her twins Logan and Lacey along with her husband Rob, whom she married in 2012 at the Horseshoe Bay Resort.

 

Lauren has been a member of Meeting Professionals International and Wedding Network USA. She is currently serving on the Board of the International Live Events Association and is an active member of the Junior League of Austin.

 
 

KRISTI DEPEW, CWEP

PRINCIPAL PLANNER

Kristi was born and raised right here in Austin, Texas, but her panache for planning started while attending Texas Tech University, where she coordinated and planned social, philanthropic and public events for her sorority, and earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Retail. Upon returning to Austin, Kristi began her local event-planning career at Elite Weddings, and then went on to work as an Event Consultant and Marketing Director for Premiere Events before earning her Certified Wedding and Event Planning certification through LWPI’s Wedding Planning Institute.  

 

Her background in rental and design give her a unique perspective in regards to event setup and attention to detail. She attributes her design aesthetic to her merchandising and design background, and prides herself on her photographic memory in regards to projecting wedding trends.

 

In her free time, Kristi enjoys spending as much time as possible with her son Nathaniel, new baby girl Alexandria, and her husband Dan, whom she married at The Driskill Hotel in 2012. She is currently a member of the Austin chapter of the National Association for Catering and Events (NACE), where she has served on the Board for two years, as Fundraising Chair and Communications Chair.

AMY WILSON, CWEP

SENIOR EVENT PLANNER

Amy was born in St. Louis and raised in Arkansas and Tennessee, so she is southern by nature. She absolutely loves college football and basketball, the ocean and the mountains, and traveling internationally. Amy spends her free time with her husband Andrew, daughter Adaline, and two wild child Labradors Bear and Shadow. 

 

Amy started planning weddings and events in 2014, but has always been one of those little girls who knew exactly what her wedding would look like, and would day dream about it often. In 2017, she married Andrew, moved to Texas, became a certified wedding and event planner, and started full time with Eclipse Event Co. Since joining the team she has planned over 30 weddings and events, each unique and amazing in their own way.

 

Amy has a true love for wedding and event design, especially when couples put pieces of their life and story into the wedding design. She is also incredibly organized, and loves her trusted daily planner and to do checklists. If you love design, trying something unique to you and no other bride, want your guests to have the best night, and have an affinity for talking in GIFs, then Amy is your girl! 

 

Stacy was born in Mt. Laurel, NJ but got to Texas as fast as she could at the young age of 3 and never left. She graduated from Texas A&M University with a Biomedical Science degree. After several years in pharmaceutical sales, Stacy realized her real passion for events and never looked back.

 

Stacy has over eight years of experience in the event industry that includes not only wedding coordinating but also venue management and catering sales. This gives Stacy the extra advantage, insight, and knowledge in planning and executing seamless events. Stacy's love of weddings shows through with her attention to detail. Her wedding philosophy is that a wedding should not only be a reflection of the couple but also as individuals. 

 

When Stacy is not planning events, she is spending time with her husband; who she married in 2012 at the Texas Federation Women's Club in Austin, and their two daughters, Grace and Madelyn. Her hobbies include baking, refinishing furniture, playing soccer and traveling.

BRIE OGLESBY

SENIOR EVENT PLANNER

Brie was born and raised in Austin, Texas and you’ll typically hear her introduce herself with, “you know, like, the cheese?” followed after. She is a natural planner at heart and finds her inner peace checking off her to-do list and arriving on time for brunch.

 

Brie started her career as an intern for Eclipse Event Co in 2016. Proving her passion and drive for the wedding industry, during her internship she maintained a 40 hour work week in the private sector while attending week night industry events and volunteering her weekends to assist on weddings. In the summer of 2016, she kick started the annual San Marcos Mermaid Fest with their opening event, Mermaid Ball.  It was then that she realized her calling was in the wedding industry.

 

She joined the Royal Fig team in 2016, preparing and executing catering coordination for over 60 events a year. After gaining valuable experience in catering, rentals, and venue logistics, she returned to the Eclipse coordination team in November of 2018.

 

Brie is a huge advocate for mental health and self-care and devotes at least 10 minutes each day to doing something that makes her happy. When she’s not designing and preparing for your big day you can find her at a stand up comedy show, trying new recipes, traveling, and of course, at home with her two sassy cats Kuzco and Yzma. 

 

Tessa was born in the San Francisco Bay Area and came to Austin in 2014 to attend St. Edwards University where the beautiful city of Austin stole her heart. Growing up in a household where her parents worked in corporate and social events, Tessa knew that was the field she could see herself.

 

During college Tessa  interned as an events and social media intern for the nonprofit Kids in a New Groove assisting on live music events with bands such as Shakey Graves and Walker Lukens.  After she finished school she was then hired by Eclipse Event Co. as an intern and afterwards was promoted to one of their wedding coordinators.  

 

Traveling to Asia, Egypt, and Europe were some of the many experiences which contributed to Tessa's distinct eye for style. From these travels she has gained a wide perspective of design and therefore is able to cater to any brides taste. She takes pride in partnering with couples and families to create the most memorable day possible all with a smile and a high level of customer service.

 

When she is not planning events, she enjoys spending time with her boyfriend, Adam, baking, and enjoying the nature Austin has to offer.  She's scanning the globe to see where her next travel destination will be and looks forward to seeing more of the world.

Loren was born in Virginia and raised around the waters of Virginia Beach. She was a long time swimmer, which led her to attend West Virginia University. There she was a student athlete for four years while earning her Bachelors Degree in Multiple Disciplinary Studies with minors in Event Planning, Public Relations, and Communications. In addition to her MDS Degree, she decided to further her event planning knowledge base and get her certification to become a Certified Wedding and Event Planner through LWPI’s Wedding Planning Institute. Upon graduating from West Virginia, Loren made the move down to Austin, Texas to pursue her passion for wedding and event planning.

 

During Loren’s time at the WVU, she was appointed and served as the swim teams recruit coordinator. This position gave her her first taste of event planning as she worked to plan various weekends full of meetings and team activities. She has over a years worth of wedding planning experience, which includes a summer internship with Eclipse Event Co. in 2017.

 

She takes great joy in being a part of a couples big day and greets each with a huge smile and lots of energy. With her passion and drive she is sure to help create a unique event for each couple packed full of memories that will last a lifetime.

 

When she is not planning she loves to spend her free time hanging out at coffee shops, being outdoors, and listening to all of the live music Austin has to offer with her boyfriend Daeton.

 

FEUN ROBINSON

EVENT COORDINATOR

Feun was born in Bangkok, Thailand and moved to the U.S. when she was two years old. She was raised in San Marcos, Texas and moved to Austin in 2014 to attend the University of Texas at Austin where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and certificate in Business.

 

During Feun’s time at UT, she served as Social Chair and President of her sorority. Through arranging social events and running an organization, she discovered her love for planning. After finishing school, she started her career as an intern with Eclipse Event Co. in summer 2018 and was hired on as an event planner.

 

Feun loves puzzles and believes that every detail of a wedding plays a role in making the day special. She takes great pride in getting to be a part of a couple’s big day and faces any challenge with a calm, welcoming smile.

 

When she is not planning events, she enjoys spending time with her Dachshund Coconut, ferret Hagrid, and boyfriend Paul. She also loves cooking, traveling, and watching The Bachelor.

CAROLINE ROBERTSON

EVENT COORDINATOR

Caroline was born in St. Louis, Missouri and moved to Austin when she was two years old.  Growing up, her Dad owned his own company where he booked bands for different events and weddings. She saw the relationships and impact he made on his clients and she naturally wanted to follow in his footsteps. 

 

She moved to San Marcos in 2012 where she attended Texas State University and received her bachelor’s degree in Public Relations and a minor in Business.  During Caroline’s time in school she served as Social Events Chair for her sorority, Delta Gamma, while interning in event planning.  After she graduated, she worked as a Banquet Captain for Trudy’s Catering team until she became a Hotel Sales Manager.  She always missed the planning side of weddings, so she started assisting Eclipse on their wedding on the weekends and in the Summer of 2019, she did her final internship to become an official Coordinator.

 

Caroline has a passion for people and loves combining forces with different vendors to make a couple’s most important day beautiful.  She loves seeing everything come together and for the couple to just enjoy themselves. 

 

When she is not planning events, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, being outdoors, cooking, traveling, and cuddling with her fat cat Charlie.
