Julia & Cole's Black and White Affair

Once upon a beautiful spring day on April 29th, 2023, Julia Shanon and Cole Patterson celebrated their love at the breathtaking Horseshoe Bay Resort in Horseshoe Bay, Texas. Their wedding was a stunning display of timeless chic vibes, with a black and white color scheme that set the stage for a day filled with elegance, love, and unforgettable moments.

Over at Horseshoe Bay Resort, Julia and Cole began their day, waking up at the very location where their wedding dreams would come true. The resort served as the perfect backdrop for their special day, with its picturesque scenery and luxurious amenities.

Art and his team at Eclipse Event Co. worked diligently to transform the Falls Point Lawn into a picturesque ceremony site and the Palm Pavilion into a glamorous reception space.

Over in the Travertine Room, the bride and her bridal party prepared for the day's festivities with the help of LoLa Beauty. Horseshoe Bay Resort ensured that every detail was perfect. Meanwhile, Cole and his groomsmen enjoyed a leisurely morning on the golf course at Apple Rock Golf Course, making the most of their time before the big event.

Honey Gem Creative arrived at the scene to capture every precious moment, starting with the getting-ready shots. The anticipation was building, and the excitement was palpable.

Musical Elegance

As the clock struck 5:30 PM, the moment everyone had been waiting for arrived. Against the backdrop of Falls Point Lawn, Julia and Cole exchanged their vows in a heartfelt ceremony. Terra Vista Strings played "Electric Love" by Borns as Julia made her entrance, radiating beauty and grace.

Following the ceremony, Eclipse Event Co. seamlessly transitioned guests into the cocktail hour at the Palm Pavilion. The space was elegantly adorned, and a lavish spread awaited guests, including passed wine and top-shelf cocktails. Horseshoe Bay Resort pulled out all the stops to ensure everyone had a fantastic time.

The reception began with a spectacular introduction, masterfully orchestrated by Dart Collective. As Julia and Cole made their entrance into the Palm Pavilion, the room erupted in cheers from their adoring guests. Their arrival was marked by a heartfelt and warm welcome speech.

The ambiance of the Palm Pavilion was a sight to behold, thanks to the meticulous efforts of Premiere Events. Their artful arrangement of chic black and white decor, featuring elegant chiavari chairs and stunning dinnerware, set the stage for an unforgettable evening. But the real showstopper was the checkered dance floor, expertly provided by Peerless Events & Tents, which added an extra layer of charm to the space.

However, it was Unique Designs who truly stole the spotlight with their extraordinary draping skills. Not content with merely adorning the ceiling, they went above and beyond by draping every wall, infusing the venue with the chic vibes that perfectly matched Julia and Cole's vision for their special day.

Thanks to Horseshoe Bay Resort, dinner was a sumptuous buffet, featuring dishes like Roasted Bone-In Chicken Breast and a 12 oz NY Strip.

The dance floor opened to the thrilling beats thanks to Dart Collective, and the celebration continued well into the night. They kept the energy high and the dance floor full as Julia, Cole, and their guests danced the night away.

As the clock neared 11:00 PM, the party showed no signs of slowing down. Eclipse Event Co. surprised everyone with a late-night snack, a taste of Texas with Whataburger served near the exit.

The night concluded with a private last dance and a sparkler send-off. It was a magical end to a perfect day.

Julia and Cole's wedding was a true reflection of their love and style. With the help of their dedicated vendors and the stunning backdrop of Horseshoe Bay Resort, they created unforgettable memories that will be cherished for a lifetime.
