Horseshoe Bay Resort is not only where one of our owners got married, but it's one of the most versatile venues we visit. As a sprawling resort, there are so many ceremony, cocktail hour and reception options. And now, the Resort has even more choices. Our first wedding at the Live Oak Ballroom at Horseshoe Bay Resort for Kirsten and Chase was a picture perfect Black Tie affair. One important note about The Live Oak Ballroom is that they have a Bride Suite, Groom's Suite and Full Kitchen so everything can be contained in one building, walkable from the Resort's Main Hotel Tower.

Adore Makeup Salon made our bride Kirsten even more beautiful as she got ready on site at the Ballroom's Bridal Suite. While the men suited up for the special day.

The Ceremony was held offsite at The Church at Horseshoe Bay, which is only about three minutes away. The Altar was enhanced with Gorgeous White Floral from Exquisite Petals. Diana Brewer Photography captured all the stunning images.

Portraits were taken in and around the Live Oak Ballroom, which has a giant water feature in front of the deck. This area serves as a great option for cocktail hour before guests head inside for reception. Thankfully, the weather held out for the couple so guests were able to enjoy the sunset next to the sights and sounds of the beautiful fountain feature.

The party then moved inside with a wedding soundtrack from Aaron, the owner of Vibe and Vision. The couple's preference was to keep the energy level high the entire evening, which is something that Aaron definitely specializes in.

The first dance took place on a glossy black and white checkered dance floor from Premiere Event Rentals, which was the perfect fit to their elegant black-tie affair.

Kirsten and Chase decided to use the hotel's in-house chairs for the reception but brought in linens from Premiere Event Rentals as well. All of the ceremony floral was repurposed to the reception, given that the space has lots of Wow Factor Moments.

The cake from Simon Lee Bakery was a very demure all-white fondant with an adorable black ribbon tied around it.

Claire from Content by Clairice was also on-site to capture the funnest dancing, most moving speeches and everything in between!

During the evening guests were able to enjoy hand-rolled cigars from Cigar Bella, an all-female staff of cigar rollers! They could also grab a fun photo at the photo booth provided by Vibe and Vision, so there was no shortage of things to do that night.

Kirsten and Chase's classic black and white celebration was the perfect way to kick off our work at Horseshoe Bay's newest venue. Thanks to the very efficient air conditioning system, we're very excited for our next wedding there this July!
