Shelbi and Michael got married on a warm spring afternoon at The Grand Lady, and it couldn’t have felt more right. It was one of those days that just clicked—easy laughter, genuine excitement, and a whole lot of love in the air. Stacy from Eclipse Event Co. worked closely with the couple to bring their dreams to life!

The morning kicked off in the bridal suite, where Katy Redell and her hair and makeup team were already in full swing. Shelbi and her girls sipped champagne, snacked, and laughed through the entire glam process. It was relaxed, fun, and exactly the kind of energy you hope for before walking down the aisle.

There was beauty everywhere you looked, and florals played a starring role. The Bloom Bar brought their A-game, starting with the ceremony. The aisle was lined with soft, pastel blooms tucked into the grass, and six oversized arrangements sat on white pedestals at the front—lush, textured, and airy. They framed the moment without taking over, letting the couple and their vows take center stage.

After the ceremony, guests made their way to cocktail hour while the Eclipse team, with help from The Bloom Bar, flipped the space. Ceremony florals were repurposed throughout the reception, tucked in around curved guest tables and the sweetheart setup. Bridesmaid bouquets found a second life at the bars, and Shelbi’s bouquet took its place on the couple’s table, surrounded by flickering candlesticks in pale pink, baby blue, and ivory.

The reception space at The Grand Lady looked unreal. Whim Hospitality provided serpentine tables that curved throughout the room, giving the space so much movement. The rentals from both Whim and Premiere Event Rentals made the entire setup feel intentional, modern, and inviting. Tabletops were layered with colorful taper candles, clear bud vases, etched votives, and wildflower-style florals that looked like they were growing right out of the table. But nothing caught eyes quite like the installation over the dance floor—a bold pink floral and disco ball piece that hung like a floating sculpture. It added a fun, slightly unexpected twist to the otherwise romantic setup, and when the lights dimmed and the music kicked in, it sparkled just the way it was meant to.

While guests enjoyed signature cocktails and appetizers from SoHo Catering and Peak Beverage, they also had the chance to be sketched live by the Vogue Vignette team. The artists’ setup—styled with soft linens, bud vases, and a floral backdrop—fit seamlessly into the design, and the portraits made for the most thoughtful keepsakes.

Speaking of music, the day started with a live string performance by Live Oak Music for the ceremony and cocktail hour, then shifted into party mode with DJ Saint from Premier Entertainment Group. He kept the energy going strong all night long, from the couple’s first dance to the final song before the sparkler send-off.

And then, just when it seemed like the day couldn’t get more memorable—came the surprise. One detail we’d been chasing for weeks that felt nearly impossible to pull off: a Shelby Cobra. Named after that very car, Shelbi had always dreamed of seeing one at her wedding. Despite all efforts, we couldn’t find one in time. But Michael and her dad didn’t give up. In a last-minute stroke of magic, they tracked one down—then another—and had both waiting for her. The look on her face when she saw them was priceless.

From golden hour portraits captured by Jessa Marie Photography to the emotional toasts, from espresso martinis to custom cups on the dance floor, every detail of this wedding felt personal. Cloud Craft Studios captured it all on film, giving the couple memories they’ll get to relive again and again.

A huge thank you to our incredible vendor team for making this day so smooth and stunning. Shelbi and Michael’s wedding reminded us that the best events aren’t just pretty—they’re full of heart. And this one? It had plenty.
