Gaby + Julian: Love with an Austin Flair

Gaby and Julian knew since almost all of their wedding guests were coming from out of town for their Austin Country Club wedding, they wanted to make sure every element provided something unique or over the top fun. Julian made a major push for the venue since he loved the Hill Country and Golf Course views. Gaby then helped turn the ballroom to an elegant reception.

The couple had the guests bused from downtown Austin to Smith Chapel for their romantic candle lit ceremony. While they only had their Best Man (Julian's younger brother, fresh off of finishing High School the week before) and Maid of Honor standing with them at the alter, we were able to get all 11 groomsmen and 20 (!) bridesmaids down the aisle along with all family members.

Guests were then shuttled from the reception to the cocktail hour where they were greeted with a Champagne Diva complete with a giant skirt filled with champagne flutes for the taking. Cocktail hour is where the couple first started to unleash all the fun! Music was provided by a Mariachi Band and guests who didn't have champagne from the champagne diva could have martinis from the ice bar with a martini luge.

For dinner, Gaby and Julian wanted to make sure their guests didn't leave hungry so they provided three different food stations. The room was painted with blush and white hues in the floral with a touch of gold from the chiavaris and chargers. Immediately following dinner, the dance party began, including a stage performance by Gaby and her Mom to Proud Mary! The couple provided guests glow sticks, strobe light glasses and other fun dance floor accessories to amplify the party atmosphere. The band even allowed Julian's cousin on stage for an improv performance of Sweet Home Alabama, which rocked the house!

The couple knew they couldn't have their Texas wedding reception without some Late Night Whataburger for everyone, which was placed out 30 minutes before the last song and gone before their send off.

The last song ended with a suprise confetti cannon for all the people on the dancefloor followed by the bride and groom left on a pedicab for their sparkler exit, complete with a just married sign and a pedi cab driver doned in a tuxedo t-shirt, a very "Austin" touch!
