Aaron and Taylor: Outdoor Romance
Immediately after their “I Do's”, Aaron and Taylor's three year old son spontaneously ran into their arms, a fitting ending so they could walk down the aisle as a family. “Mommy and Daddy got married!” you could hear Aaron whisper to their son as they made their way back to where everyone had initially been lined up before the ceremony.
Even though there was a Caribbean, laid back vibe in the background of the Horseshoe Bay Resort wedding, Taylor and Aaron's colors were dark and elegant to compliment the Fall Season. Overall the color palette for the Exquisite Petals to work with included greys, ivory, cream, mauve, lavender, wine, silver, champagne. The florist also provided draping to accent the Tuscan inspired pergola for the ceremony, creating a truly breathtaking sunset ceremony. Images were captured beautifully from the team at Amber Kelley Photography.
The bride's number one priority for her wedding was her hair and make up and the ladies from the Luxxe Look, who made the three hour drive from Dallas to Horseshoe Bay, did not disappoint! Taylor, along with all the bridesmaids, looked absolutely gorgeous the entire day.
The bride and groom had already been together for almost five years and had a family as well, so their goal was to keep the wedding as intimate as possible. In the end, they did have a small gathering of 76 guests, leaving plenty of room for vows, cocktail hour, dinner and dancing to take place in one place: The Lily Lawn at the Horseshoe Bay Resort. Dinner and dancing took place under the rustically lit tent with wooden chandeliers and Edison Festoon lights from the local rental store Outback Party Rentals. Linens came from Premiere Events in Austin. There was also hand made signs from Austin Hand-lettering on restored wood to help compliment the Rustic Elegant look.
The bride's sister, who was also the Maid of Honor, wanted to add personal touches for the couple, so she gifted them personalized matches, cake and bar napkins as well as sparkler signs. The cake itself was naked cake from Simon Lee Bakery with fall fruit all around it.
The Royal Dukes kept everyone on the dance floor for half the night, then the second half was an all out Karaoke blast with the Bride and Groom leading the charge!
At the end of the night, the couple left on a golf cart (fitting since it was a golf resort) after their sparkler send off, ready to enjoy their newly minted family together.
