Lauren + Kevin: Shades of White & Green at Antebellum Oaks

It was a gorgeous spring day for Lauren and Kevin's white and green inspired wedding at Antebellum Oaks on March 24, 2018. Lauren and Kevin are truly the sweetest couple from Houston who met their senior year at the University of Alabama. The couple chose Austin to say "I do" as they wanted a destination their guests could enjoy but was not to far to travel to.

After a whirlwind day of touring several venues, Lauren and Kevin fell in love with the picturesque Antebellum Oaks and it became the backdrop for their natural formal inspired wedding. It was the perfect venue as it was not too far out of Austin and had the space to accommodate a live band, which was extremely important to the couple.

The day of the wedding Lauren and her bridesmaids relaxed in the bridal suite while the talented team of Kara Sanchez Beauty accented the girl's natural beauty. Lauren really wanted to keep the overall look classic but was willing to take risks. Like dressing all her bridesmaids in various white dresses from the Dessy Group that complimented her timeless lace Augusta Jones dress from Unbridaled.

The stunning floral designs of Kitsch Event Styling truly captured Lauren's idea of natural and classic. The added touches of gold and candlelight elevated this simple color palate to an elegant and timeless design.

The wedding was truly a family affair as Lauren wanted a first look with not only Kevin, but her dad as well. How sweet is that! And her brother Marc aka Bubba officiated the wedding.

After the ceremony, the guests enjoyed cocktail hour on the lawn and then moved into the reception hall to enjoy the many food stations provided by Dagar Catering. There were so many options from a slider station to an avocado bar. The simple tiered white wedding cake adorned with floral and the Alabama groom's cake were created by Simple Delicious Cakes.

The Inversion Band from Dallas was a great find from the couple, who found them on YouTube. They were such fun to work with and they kept the guests dancing all night.

After the last song to Sweet Home Alabama, the happy couple left to a sparkler send off and rode away in the General MacArthur provided by Austin Classic Limo.
