Rachel + Crockett: Nature and Elegance Collide with a Vintage Vibe

Rachel and Crockett chose a winery set in Southwest Austin's 'wine country'. The small, family owned winery set the stage for this beautiful and simple, yet, elegant wedding. The wonderful large Oaks served as the backdrop all their own as the couple said 'I do'. Not much fluff was needed in terms of decor. Rachel had a vision to use nature in it's own element to compliment the blush palette and vintage look that so gracefully settled in with the surrounding area. White Buffalo Wedding Photography captured every unmissable moment.

Rachel wanted a fun pastel color palette of blush, lavender, and baby blue with some burgundy tossed in here and there. She really wanted the florals to have a garden look to them instead of a tighter more formal look and Bloom Bar provided exactly that.

They wanted to keep it as simple as possible as to not compete with the vines in the vineyard behind the ceremony space. Rachel arrived in a white 1960s Bentley by Circle J Vintage cars.

Cocktail hour was held on the lawn outside of the event center. Guests were invited to have bloody marys and mimosas and play lawn games. Rachel and Crockett took the vintage Bentley to the vineyard entrance and took their couples portraits among the vines.

Reception was held inside of the event center. The guests were asked to sign wine corks in place of a traditional sign in book. The head table was an antique Italian inspired wood table adorned with 3 large floral centerpieces. The guest tables were round with white linens and light blue napkins. Each had a pastel floral compote arrangement matching the head table.

Guests could have wine from the bar, or create their own bloody marys and mimosas at the bloody mary/mimosa bar. Instead of cutting a cake, Rachel and Crockett had cupcakes from Polkadots Cupcake Facyory for everyone in flavors like strawberry and cream (gluten free), salted caramel, strawberry cheesecake, triple chocolate, tiramisu, and cinnamon sugar.

Rachel and Crockett danced to Clear by Needtobreathe, Father/Daughter dance was to Wonderful Tonight by Eric Clapton, and mother/stepmother/son dance was to Find Your Wings by Mark Harris. Rachel and Crockett exited to tossed lavender outside of the event center and left in the vintage Bentley.

This lucky couple traveled to Belize to celebrate a beautiful honeymoon together.
