Joy + Deb: Colorful Spring Wedding at the Zilker Rose Garden & Clubhouse

On April 27th, 2019, Joy and Deb celebrated their 27 year relationship by getting married in the Zilker Botanical Gardens surrounded by friends, family, and nature. The perfect background for their ceremony was the butterfly garden arch covered in greenery, and beautiful seasonal spring flowers in various shades of orange, pink, purple, and yellow provided by Cherry Lane Floral. The aisle was linen with fruitwood folding chairs to incorporate the gorgeous natural background surrounding them, as provided by Marquee.

And all the beauty was captured forever in photos by Creatrix Photography.

Joy and Deb's priority was their guests experience so in true Austin fashion Joy and Deb had Metrocycle Pedicabs to transport their guests to the Zilker Clubhouse, with their personal Metrocycle Pedicab showing their love to the world with their Just Married signed.

At the arrival to the Zilker Clubhouse guests enjoyed passed appetizers and an antipasto station during cocktail hour, as provided by Royal Fig Catering; with Brisket Tostada, Drunken Meatballs, and Wild Mushroom Toasts, Delicious!

Over the speakers the guests hear “Please welcome for the first time, our newlyweds,Joy & Deb!” as announced by Lower Case G. The roar of the crowd brought the biggest smile to Joy and Deb's faces as they entered their reception to see everyone they love in one room here to celebrate their new beginning with them.

The newlyweds parents all gave wonderful toasts that were followed by Joy and Deb's first dance as a married couple. At the end of their first dance both fathers were invited to join their daughters on the dance floor for a joint father-daughter dance. But the couple didn't forget their mothers and asked them to step in for a special mother-daughter dance that melted everyone's hearts as the song faded and the applause increased.

With the dance floor now open, dinner stations fully stocked, the festoon uplighting (provided by ILD)about to be turned on and the sunset not far off, the party had officially begun.

While the party was in full swing the amazing cake, make by Sweet Treats Bakery, was cut and served to it's adoring fans.

Joy and Deb ended their perfect wedding day with a sparkler exit to the tune of Last Dance by Donna Summers.

The next day Deb's first official activity as a married women was to compete in a 2k swim to make the most out of her perfect weekend!
