Simply the Best at 800 Congress

On Saturday February 29th, 2020, April & David said their ‘I Dos’ at 800 Congress.

This beautiful day showcased the couples love for each other and was a long awaited celebration of that love. They started their day at the Intercontinental, where they spent these moments preparing for forever. As makeup was applied and gifts were exchanged, the wedding day team began transforming the ceremony and reception space.

Beautiful velvet linens from Monarch were spread on the tables, place settings from Table Manners TX were perfectly placed for each guest, and boho floral arrangements and romantic candles from Remi + Gold added the finishing touch to the room. This Austin inspired wedding full of whimsy and texture showcased the couple’s individual personalities.

Everything was ready and guests began taking their seats at chairs provided by Premiere, music by Pociano Seoane played as the couple walked down the aisle along with the ones they loved. Vows were exchanged and the first kiss marked their official title: husband & wife. It was now time to celebrate! Birch & Brass provided the gorgeous lounge for guests to rest their feet and mingle. Contigo provided yummy bites and a delicious family style dinner service. Inbal Sivan captured all the magic that was the wedding day, including a cute portrait with the newlyweds and their goodest girl, Georgia.

The couple are fans of the show Schitt’s Creek (who isn’t?) so their first dance was to Simply The Best by Tina Turner. Guests ate, drank, and danced their night away to Hot Sauce ATX’s sweet tunes. It was surely a night to remember but it didn’t stop there as guests made their way to the after party at the Intercontinental to continue the night. Before April and David joined, they walked around downtown Austin and took some adorable portraits together that we can’t help but smile when we see.
