Modern Luxury at The Grand Lady

As planners, we get to help clients bring their dream wedding to life but sometimes we get to design weddings just for fun! This styled shoot was at the beautiful new venue, The Grand Lady, in Manor, Tx (Only a 20 minute drive to downtown Austin) that consists of a mansion, which was built in 1881 as a wedding gift, a courtyard, and hall all on 20 acres of land. Our very own planner, Tessa, and her boyfriend Adam were our stunning bride and groom. Tessa prepped for the shoot by getting glam from All Dolled Up. Livia did a soft and smokey makeup look with a slightly messy updo. Tessa wore a beautiful beaded ball gown with floral appliques from Melange and Adam donned a spiffy tux provided by The Black Tux.

Our co-owner, Lauren Chumbley, was in charge of the design for this shoot and wanted to go for a black tie modern feel to contrast with the vintage mansion and hill country vibes. She decided to use hunter green as the main color with white furniture and gold accents. The Inviting Pear designed this invitation suite that matched the color story perfectly.

That afternoon, our team set out the table top settings from Marquee Event Group on top of the mid century modern white table from Zen Event Rentals. The Bloom Bar created the beautiful spring flower arrangements which were set on around the table. You can’t forget a photo booth which was provided by Booth Easy.

Our lovely friends and vendors, Honey Gem Creative and Lauren Maria Films, captured the beautiful design and couple. Thank you to all of our vendor friends who made this beautiful shoot happen. We loved getting to create this fun shoot with you guys!
