Classic Austin Wedding at Banger's Sausage House and Beer Garden
Saturday, November 9th 2019 Reagan + Matt got married at St. John Neumanns. To prepare for the day, Reagan and her bridesmaids got their hair and makeup done by Mirror Mirror and LoLa Beauty as Matt and his groomsmen enjoyed some pre ceremony drinks at Seven Grand.
Regan + Matt are a fun, energetic couple who wanted their guests to have what they considered to be the Austin experience. They chose Banger’s Beer Garden as it was located right on Rainey Street and was the perfect setting for what they were looking for. They also prioritized entertainment so they had 3 different kinds of live music which doesn’t get any more Austin than that.
To prep this beer garden for reception, we had an amazing wedding day team. The tables were set by Bangers, linens were from Premiere Event Rentals, and floral was placed by Billowing Blooms. The dance floor was installed by Marquee Event Rentals and the reception was ready for Ailin Hyde to capture some detail shots before the night began.
The couple had a traditional church ceremony surrounded by their closest friends and family. The church’s big window allowed for stunning natural lit photos that the couple will keep with them forever.
After exchanging ‘I Do’s’, everyone took a short break before arriving at Bangers for cocktail hour. The newlyweds arrived onsite to soak in the reception space. I recommend doing this for any couple as it is a special moment to enjoy the months of planning that has led to y’alls vision coming to life.
Guests began to arrive to music played by Michael Rowe. Bangers provided the delicious buffet and desserts for reception. Guests ate as PDA Band played their first set. It wasn’t shortly after that they were out on the dance floor dancing the night away only to be interrupted by a bagpipe performance from Capital City Highlanders. The night ended with a private last dance to Perfect by Ed Sheeran and a tambourine send off.
