A Pink & Pretty Party at the Allan House

Lauren and Mike had the most magical wedding day at The Allan House back in March of last year. They brought all the elegance, fun, and sparkle to this wedding. Let’s get into it!

Our fabulous Senior Planner, Artie, planned and executed Lauren and Mike’s wedding. He had plenty of experience working at The Allan House and with similar prior themes, so he was well versed in executing their vision. The couple emphasized the need for beauty, aesthetic, and partying, and Art was just the man for the job!

The first to arrive at The Allan House were Austin Event Lighting for the lighting installs and Unique Design & Events for the ceremony chair setup, while Kiss & Makeup met the bride and her bridesmaids at the Fairmont for Hair and Makeup. One thing about Lauren and Mike, they’re gonna have cute photo props! Lauren’s heart glasses and Mike’s face cutouts are simply iconic.

Next came Stems, who created the most voluminous and stunning floral arrangements on the ceremony arch! As they finished up their table centerpieces, LBV Design House dropped off all of the day-of stationery, which included this pink-toned welcome sign to warmly greet guests as they arrived.

As all of the vendors worked to complete the ceremony space, Feather & Twine finished pre-ceremony photos with the bridal party while Little Gray Films accompanied them to capture video footage. Just then, guests began to arrive and it was time for the ceremony to begin!

While the procession began, Musical Discovery’s String Quartet filled the space with delicate music. Austin Area Weddings’ Officiant kept the atmosphere lighthearted and completed a short and sweet ceremony, just how we all like it! The newlyweds shared their first kiss and launched straight into cocktail hour, DJ’d by DJ Nixx Entertainment.

Royal Fig provided all of the catering services for the day, as well as the cake! They completed the flip to reception and set all the tables during cocktail hour quickly and smoothly. Austin’s Best DJs brought a Neon Sign and accompanying wall which made the cake an even more beautiful photo op!

Reception opened and it was finally time to eat the yummy food by Royal Fig! They also set up this gorgeous champagne tower that Lauren and Mike poured onto for a photo. And the results were phenomenal! The couple held their first dances together and then opened up the dance floor to start the party.

Lauren did a quick outfit change in the middle of reception so that she could show out in her sparkly, fun jumpsuit, which was perfect for entering the dance party! The couple danced for a short while before their send-off car from ATX Classic Cars arrived.

To finish off the night, their guests said goodbye with a classic sparkler send-off leading up to their flashy getaway car. This was a very special day for a fun couple, which is exactly what we love to work on. Art did a splendid job making this wedding happen and the photos from Feather & Twine definitely show that! Thank you to our vendor team and thank you to our readers for learning about this amazing occasion. Best wishes to Mr. And Mrs. Gonzalez!
