A Smashing Good Time: Lauren & Chris at Pecan Springs Ranch

Lauren and Chris’s wedding at Pecan Springs Ranch was the kind of celebration people talk about long after the lights go out. With a stunning Hill Country venue, an incredible vendor team, and Eclipse Event Co.’s Lauren (not the bride—different Lauren!) leading the charge, everything came together with personality, color, and unforgettable energy.

The day started with glam from LoLa Beauty, giving the bride and her crew soft, camera-ready looks. Meanwhile, Eclipse Event Co. was setting the scene, adding in thoughtful touches like custom signage, wedding favors, and a perfectly styled gift table. Each table was dressed with linens from BBJ La Tavola, with chic table numbers by Design to Flourish adding a polished, personal touch to every setting.

The ceremony space was pure retro-boho magic. The Bloom Bar created a floral masterpiece with a broken arch full of pampas grass, dried palms, and bold orange blooms. Ground arrangements lined the aisle and later framed the head table. Even the signage was accented with florals and mini disco balls for a cohesive look. Live acoustic music by Trevor Permann brought warmth and emotion to the ceremony.

Guests rolled right into cocktail hour with drinks poured by Elevate Bartending, who served up spicy margaritas and a green-hued Chartreuse cocktail called “The Last Word,” all made with premium spirits from Specs. Over by the patio, the Pixter photobooth was a total hit—snapping candid, fun photos that guests took home as keepsakes. And of course, Pecan Springs Ranch brought their signature charm (including a surprise donkey visit that guests absolutely loved).

As guests stepped into the reception, the room revealed even more wow. Every chair, table, glass, and fork was part of the vision—and all made possible by Premiere Events. From the elegant place settings to the glassware behind the bar, their rentals set the tone for the evening. The highlight? A checkerboard dance floor in wood and white, also from Premiere Events, that became the heart of the party.

Above it, The Bloom Bar installed a jaw-dropping ceiling piece—an 8x8' statement filled with disco balls, tumbleweeds, palms, and pampas that danced with the light. The head table featured bouquets turned centerpieces, dusty rose tapers in brass holders, and vases of blooms that brought everything together beautifully.

Dinner from Slab BBQ was hearty, smoky, and exactly what the couple wanted. For dessert, Tiny Pies delivered mini bites of goodness, displayed on a styled table dressed up by both Table Manners and Kitsch Event Styling, who layered in decor elements to make the setup pop.

When it was time to party, Uptown Drive took over with live music and kept the dance floor packed all night. From first dances to crowd favorites, their energy never dipped.

And then came the grand finale—a twist no one saw coming. Instead of a sparkler send-off or quiet goodbye, the bride stepped onto the dance floor, grabbed a stick, and absolutely demolished a giant piñata in front of all their cheering guests. It was playful, unexpected, and the perfect exclamation point on a night that was already full of joy.
