Sweet Southern Wedding
On June 12, 2021, Kaylee and Ty tied the knot in a sweet, southern wedding with plenty of bright colors nestled in the Texas Hill Country at The Ivory Oak.
You could feel the love between Kaylee and Ty in the way that they looked at one another. Their love was captured beautifully by Lauren Maria Photography & Films.
Their wedding style could be described as colorful southern charm. This is evident in the bright and colorful florals by Native Bloom Floral.
Their color pallet was bright, soft, and beautiful. That was one of their planner's, Lauren Chumbley's, favorite things about this wedding. With rentals from Premiere Events, the room came together in a beautiful, light, and airy way.
The bright pallet went incredibly well with their invitations, which can be seen in these amazing detail shots captured by Lauren Maria. Kaylee's bridesmaids looked phenomenal in their blue bridesmaid dresses!
Kaylee looked stunning with her hair and makeup styled by LoLa Beauty.
The couple chose this venue because the Hill Country elegance played perfectly for all their friends and family! Lauren's favorite thing about this venue is the trees and, "The flow from cocktail hour to reception to the open and airy reception space is phenomenal. "
On the day of, they both wrote sweet notes to one another that put smiles on both of their faces. Their planner Lauren Chumbley spoke about their love. She said that "They were a great team." She even told the story of one time when she sent an email checking in with them and included a To-Do list, and Kaylee came home that night, and in a very worried tone, Ty told her, "Kaylee, we have a lot of homework to do." It was so cute!! They were happy and positive during the whole planning process. It was wonderful."
The band is also a secret weapon. PDA band is AMAZING and very unique. They hit everyone with some amazing 90s hits like No Diggity and some fun Boy Band Songs too! Who wouldn't hit the dance floor for Backstreet Boys!
Kaylee's mom was also a big part of the planning process. She was fun to work with and added on some things at the end, like extending the reception. She wanted to make sure that the party lasted as long as possible. Lauren said, "It made me so happy to see everyone enjoying themselves that day."
We can't forget these delicious cakes by Sweet Treats! These almond vanilla sweet treats were the perfect addition to the evening.
The groom's cake was a hit of the night! He loves to fish, and that's how he brings home all his fish. Sweet Treets lets you customize the decal Stickers you put on it, so it's very true to the groom's personality. Every guy who walked by their groom's cake *HAD* to get a picture of it. It was too funny.
For a final special moment for this couple, the band was able to play an exit song as they walked out for their sparkler exit, which is not something you usually see! The couple danced out to Hall and Oats, "You Make My Dreams" through a tunnel of sparklers and left in a getaway car provided by 4 Leaf Limo.
Congratulations to Kaylee and Ty on their beautiful Hill Country wedding! It was one to remember!
