Twinkling Classic Wedding at Horseshoe Bay

Thea and Michael tied the knot on November 20th of last year. Thea is actually good friends with Jonie, who you might have seen in a previous blog covering Jonie and Bailey’s wedding! After seeing how beautiful that celebration was, Thea was thrilled to work with Lauren to plan her classic wedding with Michael.

Lauren adored Thea and Michael, saying “They were such a fun couple! And he just really loved her. I loved seeing that!”

They decided to have their wedding at the Horseshoe Bay Resort, which was a great pick, since it gave the picture-perfect background for all of their photos done by their photographer from Splashes of Time.

Thea looks incredibly stunning with hair and makeup done by All Dolled Up, and even more so with her wedding dress from Eddy K!

As Thea walked down the aisle, she was accompanied by elegant music from the string quartet, Terra Vista Strings. She was married to Michael by their officiant, Marry Me Brandon, who officially declared them “Mr. and Mrs. Sheen”!

To decorate their reception space, they rented linens from Premiere Events, bought flowers from Jordan Flowers, and hung up twinkly lighting by Booth Easy, which came out looking amazingly enchanting! Lastly, Thea and Michael ordered a custom shotski to add some extra fun to the party, LOL.

For Thea and Michael’s reception party, they wanted music to be the highest priority. Therefore, they worked with the Manhattan Band as the performers for the night. It was such a captivating band that during the dinner set, the audience would watch, sing along, and applaud in awe. You never see that during reception! Here are some photos of the audience loving the music all night long.

After dinner, their guests took plenty of photos with the Photo Booth setup provided by Proof It Happened. Unfortunately, Thea’s brother was deployed right before the wedding, so he couldn’t make it. But they ordered a fantastic and hilarious cutout of him so he could still be in their photos! Looks real, right?

This cake by Michelle’s Patisserie looks so lovely with the floral arrangements done by Jordan Flowers! We are obsessed!

To end the night, Thea and Michael had a special private last dance to “Cowboy Take Me Away”, which from the photos, looked like a lot of fun!

Thank you, Mr. and Mrs. Sheen, for letting us plan this wedding with you! We wish this beautiful couple the very best!
