Black, White, and Champagne All Over: Tabitha + Luke at The Arlo

When we first met Tabitha and Luke, it was thanks to a sweet referral from past clients—one of our favorite ways to meet new couples. From the first conversation, it was obvious these two were just meant for each other. They had the kind of connection that made everyone around them smile. The way they moved through the planning process together felt effortless—natural in the best way.

Tabitha had a clear vision for the day: classic black and white with just the right amount of personality, which in her case meant a whole lot of champagne and a whole lot of fun. With her family flying in from California for the weekend, this wedding wasn’t just a party—it was a reunion, a homecoming, and a celebration all wrapped into one.

We kicked off the day at The Arlo, one of our favorite venues in Austin. While Tabitha and her bridesmaids were in the bridal suite with the incredibly talented team from LoLa Beauty, the vendors started rolling in. The LoLa team kept everyone glowing, but still looking like themselves—just the elevated, wedding-day version.
Abigail Creamer Photography arrived and got to work on all the detail shots—shoes, rings, stationery, and of course... the champagne. Tabitha’s love for bubbly was a running theme of the day, showing up in both quiet moments with her girls and big moments later in the reception.

Now, we need to take a moment for the seating chart. Tabitha and Luke DIY’d a massive (and gorgeous) seating display that looked like it belonged in an art gallery. But here’s the thing about oversized DIY projects: getting them to the venue is a logistical event in itself. The couple quickly realized there was no way this was fitting in a regular car. So we scheduled a TaskRabbit to safely deliver it. It’s a small but important reminder for other couples—if you’re going big on decor, build a delivery plan into your timeline.

As the ceremony setup came together, the team at JoAn Floral transformed the space with soft, textural white blooms and lush greenery. From the sprinkled petals down the aisle to the pedestals flanking the ceremony site, every detail felt airy and romantic. They even included subtle touches of blue, just to keep things interesting.

The guest tables were set with a mix of rentals from Premiere Events and Noma Events. Premiere Events provided the beautiful linens and dance floor, while Noma brought in gorgeous glassware that made the tables pop. Every plate, napkin, and water goblet found its place thanks to our planning team—Lauren Chumbley leading the charge with 2 fun assistants making sure every detail landed exactly where it should.

Root Cellar Catering, handled food and beverage from start to finish. They kept guests happy with pre-ceremony drinks, cocktail hour snacks, and a multi-course dinner that accommodated everyone—including vegan and kids’ meals. Dessert was a two-part showstopper. Lyoness Pastry delivered a stunning cake that we showcased on one of the ceremony pedestals repurposed just for this moment (we love when decor does double duty). Then Nothing Bundt Cakes arrived with trays upon trays of Bundtinis in every flavor you could imagine—because when it comes to dessert, more is more.

Entertainment was on point all night thanks to Revel Entertainment. From the ceremony mic setup to the packed dance floor later in the night, he handled it all. And then there was Premier Entertainment Group who rolled in with his saxophone and took the energy up another notch. If you’ve never experienced a live saxophone weaving through a DJ set, trust us, you need to.

Capturing all these moments on film was Russell John. From private vows during the first look to dance floor confetti later in the night, he was everywhere, making sure no moment went undocumented.
Throughout the reception, guests flowed between dancing, photo booth moments (set up and managed by Revel Entertainment), and trips to the dessert table. As the night wrapped up, our team made sure Tabitha and Luke had everything they needed for a smooth send-off: overnight bags, to-go meals from Root Cellar Catering, leftover cake, and of course... one final bottle of champagne.

Elegant Limo staged the getaway car, and with sparklers lighting the night sky, the newlyweds drove off toward their first night as husband and wife. Every wedding has its own vibe, and this one was pure joy with a little sparkle, a lot of heart, and all the champagne Tabitha could want. From California family hugs to sax solos on the dance floor—this day was one for the books.

To Tabitha and Luke: Thank you for letting us be part of your story. Cheers to forever!
