On their wedding day, you couldn't tell which was bluer: the sky or the water. Everything seemed to be in Technicolor for Cici and Feng. The pinks were Pinker and the soft silks of the linens were even softer. It was truly a statement Wedding! For Cici, image was everything. Overall design, and especially floral, were the biggest priorities. She wanted simple, elegant and romantic which was reflected in the gorgeous ceremony arrangements reception centerpieces from Flora Feti
If someone were to ask, I definitely say I would describe myself as a very proud Longhorn. Strangely enough, I had the best time of coordinating a wedding for two Die Hard Aggies! Lauren and Evan were two very sweet and grounded people with amazing parents. Their wedding day was forecasted for 5% chance of rain the day before, but then the day of, doppler was showing a 100% chance of a downpour. We had to call the rain plan that day, which meant the traditional use of the Sac
For some, a long day might mean working over eight hours, maybe even 10 hours. Others might consider a 12 hour day pretty long. For Eclipse Event Co., we would consider a near- 22 hour work day up there. And so it was for Kam and Bal’s Sikh Wedding Extravaganza! The day began with a 6:00AM arrival at Brazos Hall for Lauren, and 6:30AM arrival for Kristi who thankfully arrived armed with coffee. STEMS Floral Design and Marquee Event Group also arrived at 6:00 AM to help prepar
February 23rd 2018 was the perfect day for Misty and Paul to say “I do”. And that is just what they did under the beautiful arbor at Vintage Villas. Though it was a gray and misty day it only made the colors pop even more. The beautiful red, whites and greens in the bridal party's bouquets provided by Bloom and Leaf were the perfect colors for such a day. As the bridal party began their walk down the aisle a nervous but excited bride waited on the third floor in her villa for
It’s not often that you meet a bride like Liz. Liz is self-proclaimed laid back, but certainly had some out of the box ideas for her wedding. I first met Liz at her venue of choice, Star Hill Ranch. This decision of venue alone speaks a lot about who Liz is. The venue is a collection of old movie sets and has the appearance of a small street straight out of a western film. It’s different, it’s unique and it makes an impression. This is exactly what Liz wanted for her wedding.
Shannon and Wade were some of the coolest clients we have had. They were very much into music, comedy, and we're just an overall thrill to work with. They held their Austin Texas wedding at Vintage Villas, an established venue overlooking Lake Travis this past March. It was very important to Shannon that her mother be very involved, because she and Wade were planning from Los Angeles. Shannon had her own funky style and wanted to incorporate that into the Decour. She provide
The wedding technically was Midnight Circus inspired from the beginning, but we took a more Tim Burton approach overall by the end, even starting with the Guest Entrance. As guests arrived, we had the score to Edward Scissorhands playing in the background. The venue was a vintage house with a clear tent in the back, perfect for hanging vintage black and white parasols. There wasn't anything too feminine on site, floral was dark and dramatic. Not only did the bride where black
